Numerical research on unsteady aerodynamics of a WIG airfoil flying over wavy water surface

Aerodynamic characteristics of an airfoil, NACA2410, flying over wavy water surface is investigated numerically. The unsteady, incompressible Navier-Stokes equations are solved using FLUNT code, based on Realizable k-ε turbulence model, the finite volume method and VOF method. Some numerical results are presented to show the effects of the wavelength and wave amplitude of the wave.
