Three-dimensional evolution of the flow through a curved square duct
Three-dimensional (3-D) calculation of the flow through a curved square duct is performed by use of the spectral method. It is found that a time-periodic solution obtained by two-dimensional (2-D) calculations appear in the form of a traveling-wave solution in 3-D calculations.
