Numerical studies of flow past two side-by-side circular cylinders
The large eddy simulation is performed to study the ow past two side-by-side circular cylinders. The Reynolds number is 5800 based on the free-stream velocity and cylinder diameter. The center-to- center transverse pitch ratio T/D is 3. Both cylinders are slighted heated and the small amount of heat can be treated as a passive scalar. The numerical results are compared with the experimental data. The numerical simulations are in good agreement with experimental observations.
