On the Critical Infiltration Pressure Model for Situation of Rough Surface of Carbon Fibers

摘要：

A surface rough on the fiber is an important factor for critical infiltration pressure of a bundle of fibers. A surface rough parameter α was introduced in a well-known infiltration model in this paper. The relationship among pressure p, contact angleθ and surface rough parameter α was studied. It is found that as θ=π,infiltration pressure decreases with increase of α. But in a wetting system such as θ=0, infiltration occurs spontaneously whatever value α has.
