Research on an Expert System For Processes Selection In Composite Materials Engineering
The expert system for processes selection in the field of composite materials engineering includes the database of composite materials and processes, the database of knowledge in the processes, the module of processes programming and the module of composite materials cost estimate. According to the characteristic of composite materials processes, the paper presents the expression of knowledge-based of the expert system, the framework of the system, the strategies for reasoning and the processes of selection in details. Based on the database of composite materials and processes, the estimate system of the processes works with the characteristic in composite materials engineering design and confirms the evaluating indicator influencing the composites manufacturability. The target of the module of processes planning is to set down the processes of selection in details. Different kinds of components have been dealt with cost estimate on the basis of processes planning, then get the evaluating indicator and theoretical principle in composite materials engineering design.
