New Evolve Of Plasma Alloying On Titanium Alloys Surface

Aimed at improving wear, corrosion resistance also to enhancing the fire retardance, several plasma surface treating methods on titanium alloys had been presented, which included add-arc glow discharge hydrogen-free carburizing plasma depositing on titanium alloy, double glow discharge plasma hydrogen-free carburizing on titanium alloy, and double glow discharge Cu diffusing. The results show that gradient layer had formed on the titanium alloys that have great significance on wear, corrosion resistance and fire burning resistance.
