Improving Surface Quality of Friction Pair by using Chemical Grinding Agent with Nanopowders

The surface morphology of raceway is one of the key factors for the bearings vibration and noise. The paper proposes a novel method, which uses the nanometer composite chemical grinding reagent to deal with the surface of the bearings friction pair. Utilizing the nanometer composite materials physical and chemical characteristics, the method integrates the mechanical grind and abrasion to effectively improve the surface morphology of the scroll raceway and body for reducing the running vibration and noise. Based on experiments, we safely reach the conclusion it is a good method to improve the bearing quality in the practice.
