Nanomechanics Properties of dental feldspathic ceramics
Nanoindentation test system was used to investigate in the hardness, elasticity modulus and friction coefficient of feldspathic dental ceramics at nanometer scale. The toughening mechanism and machinability mechanism of dental feldspathic ceramics were discussed based on the micro mechanical performance. The results indicate that, nanoindentation can evaluate mechanics of dental ceramics from the microcosmic aspect, and nanometer scratch experiment can contrast the machinability of diversified dental ceramics. The result of test and simulate, can provide the theory basis to improve the material performance further, also, provide a reference scale index to ceramics in molding and applying
