Mechanical performance of modified rubber and PVC filled with nanomaterials
Common materials in coal mine are in the harsh environment of gas. For the sake of safety, a better antistatics and fire protection material propertie is demanded. A certain amount of antistatic materials and fire protection material has to be filled in order to improve the antistatic properties especially the fire protection functions. And using the normal filling method will inevitablely reduce the mechanical performance. This paper discusses the influence of the crosslinking agent on nano-filler particle size and the structure of the polymer, the influence of the filler particle size and the ratio of different components on the conductivity of composite materials and the tensile strength, impact strength and ductility of materials. The influence of mastication temperature and time on the PTC effect is studied. The mechanism of the volume effect and surface effect and improving the tribology and mechanical properties is also studied.
