The Effect of Catalytic Heterogeneous Recombination in the Design of Space Vehicles
Phenomenological and molecular dynamic models leading to closed-form predictions of heterogeneous recombination and energy transfer effects on heat shield coatings of space vehicles are considered and some results of investigating the heterogeneous catalytic processes under conditions of space vehicle entry into the Earths and Martian atmospheres are presented.
