Modular Coordination of Construction and Industrial Product for the Economic Affordable Housing
This article focused on the existing status of the disharmony between industrial product and construction and that between product design and production. The disharmonies resulted in the increase of manual labor and materials cost, and the consumption of floor areas in house. The authors put forward a uniform modular criterion in order to coordinate the industrial product dimension with construction, to improve the utilization ratio of living area, to meet the economic demands for inexpensive-rent house.
