Making a Digital Land-use Status Map Based on the MAPGIS

MAPGIS is a kind of GIS software which is produced by China, which has the originality in mapping. The paper analyzes the digital map merit, studying with emphasis based on the MAPGIS software making digital Land-use status map process, and proposing some suggestions.
