The Relationship between Spectral Changes and Soil Condition in Various Depths
Spectral analysis is important for application of quantitative remote sensing. We studied the spectral band of 1 480 nm. The experimental result showed a high correlation between reflectance of the waveband and moisture flux under natural conditions, which became low when all grasses around the nudation was removed; the correlation between soil moisture in various depths and reflectance of the waveband varied between 0.4, and more than 0.8; the relation between temperature and reflectance of the waveband was lowest at 10 and 60 cm depths, and highest at the 40 cm depth. In addition, the change in curve was different at 10 and 60 cm depths. The experimental result would provide a reference for waveband selection.
