A Quality Fuzzy Assessment Model Based on Maximum Entropy of the Water-eroded Desertification
A fuzzy assessment model based on maximum entropywas developed with a focus on two aspects of water-eroded desertification assessment, namely, complexity and uncertainty of land ecosystem. Five assessment indexes, including cutting density, slope, soil thickness, soil organic matter content, and vegetation index, were selected to assess the desertification level. The results of the case study based on the five indexes further confirmed that this model was feasible, effective and reliable. This model could provide a scientific supporting tool for controlling desertification.
