Experimental demonstration of quadrature entanglement using laser pulses
We report the generation of pulsed squeezed light from a degenerate optical parametric amplifier (OPA). With a single pass through OPA, the noise reduction of 2.0 dB below the shot noise limit is observed. The entanglement is obtained by combining two pulsed squeezed state with a beam splitter. The phase sensitive noise of a single beam from the beam splitter is measured, the results indicate the successful generation of quantum entanglement.
