THE MASTER MODEL TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH OF COMPRESSOR ROTOR BLADE

Based on Concurrent Engineering (CE) and multidiscipline collaborative design, the application of Master Model in compressor rotor blade is studied. The association between Master Model and mechanical Context Model is established,and the association between mechanical context model and Finite Element Model is also established. An approach is provided to seamlessly transfer CAD information to CAE for mechanical analysis to make CAD/CAE integration more closely. Mechanical Context Model and Finite Element Model can be updated automatically and simultaneously with the modification of the Master Model, which reduces the work by human hand and improves the degree of automated design. A practical application based on a kind of blisk is presented to prove the feasibility of the approach. Meanwhile, this approach also provides an idea about associating Master Model to other discipline Context Model.
