AERODYNAMIC DAMPING RESEARCH OF BLADE VIBRATION IN FLOW FIELD
Based on the decoupled theory, the unsteady aerodynamic force induced by blade vibration reflects the coupling feature and the coupling degree between the flow field and the turbomachine blade.A research model for aerodynamic damping has been established in a uniform incoming flow. With this model, two more practical and simpler methodologies of the modal aerodynamic damping have been developed based on the equivalent viscous damping principle. The first three vibration modes modal aerodynamic damping ratios of a compressor blade are calculated by using the above algorithms, and the decoupled forced response analysis with consideration of aerodynamic damping are calculated by modal superposition method. It is shown that the aerodynamic damping is important to the blade forced response if there is no mechanical damper.
