THERMALLY HIGHLY LOADED, POROUS AND COOLED MULTI-LAYER SYSTEMS FOR COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANTS
The issue presented here was studied during the initial period of 2001 in Aachen University. It is an advanced investigation for the high temperature turbine blades cooling. The more efficient heat exchanging near the surface of a blade may be achieved by forcing a cooling air flow emitting out of a thin layer of the porous metal material which is pasted on the structural high strength metal material. The contents include 1.consideration on the computational model for an issue of heat transfer through a layer of porous material, 2. the concrete modeling of the issue and the analysis on the model, 3.numerical survey of parameters for heat transfer through a layer of porous material.
