THE THEORETICAL TREATMENT OF COMPARISON OF PERFORMANCE BETWEEN TWO SCRAMJET ENGINES WITH ENERGY-BYPASS BASED ON EXERGY METHOD

摘要：

These are many questions drawn from the previous work about the comparison of performance between AJAX and MHD-Arc-Scramjet combined cycle, which are all scramjet engines with energy-bypass system. The affirmative answers to these questions need more analysis, especially by theoretical investigation. Analysis has been carried out in the paper with theoretical treatment based on exergy method in order to grasp the essence of these phenomena. The discussion results show that the doubt about the previous efforts should be removed,and the conclusion drawn from those works would be kept correct based on the specific conditions.
