TRACKING MOVING INTERFACE USING SPH METHOD
Interface tracking is an extensive and important problem in the fluid flows. The general grid methods are difficult to capture the acute deformation of interface, which arouses the research of gridless method in interface tracking. As a gridless method, SPH method acquires a great success in noncontinuous medium mechanics but is fewer used in fluid computations especially in interface tracking problem. Our previous study in interface tracking of dam bursting flow with single wall was good agreement with MAC1. In this paper,we apply SPH to the more complex flow, dam bursting flow with double walls. The results suggest its excellent performance in interface tracking and computation stability. Its characteristics very adopt to using in multi-phase flow as well.
