Effects on Combustion of Liquefied Petroleum Gas of Porous Ceramic Doped with Rare Earth Elements
The effects on the combustion of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) of porous ceramic doped with rare earth elements (PCR) were studied by the flue gas analysis and water boiling test (WBT). The results showed that the application of PCR led to the change of flame color from red to blue, the improvement of the fuel consumption by 4.5 %, and the decrease of CO and O2 concentration in exhaust gases by 40.9% and 12.8%, respectively. However the temperature inside the flue increased by 2.2%.
