Simulation of outdoor wind field of one campus in mountainous city
In order to analyze the wind environment of the campus in the mountainous city, examine the natural ventilated condition inner the campus and improve the environment around the teaching building, the CFD software was applied to carry on simulation of teaching building and campus A Chongqing University. It is found that there are high density of dormitory buildings and a low wind velocity in the southeast and northwest of the campus, which causes a lot of inconvenience for peoples life and activities. So a plan concept that the trend of buildings and roads should be adjusted to predominant wind is put forward in this paper. It is suggests that natural ventilation of campus A can be improved by reducing the number of rounding buildings as far as possible and keeping the range interval of buildings. It is also found that wind blows around teaching building. The road around the teaching building should be widened to reduce the wind velocity.
