OGO process for biological of removal nitrogen and phosphorus
Based on OCO technology, a new process called OGO was developed through the configuration improvement, including the extension of the C-partition wall (60°) and set of moving guide-wall in place of the two speedadjustable stirrers. The experimental results for municipal wastewater show that the removal efficiencies of NH3-N,total nitrogen(TN) and total phosphorus(TP) in OGO rise from 51%, 49% and 70% in OCO to 74%, 63% and 78% respectively after extending the C-partition wall, as well as organic matters can be removed efficiently. OGO system realizes the automatic return of the mixed liquid without pump, and reduces operating energy-consume greatly. According to the experimental results with municipal sewage, the new process has strong and stable resisting capability at low temperature. And microorganism population can be formed stably in the new-type reactor.
