IA-64 Architecture Parameter Passing Conventions Overview

摘要：

The IA-64 architecture is a unique combination of innovative features such as explicit parallelism, predication,speculation and more. The architecture is designed to be highly scalable to fill the performance requirements of various server and workstation market segments. The paper describe the calling conventions that IA-64 architecture used in parameter passing, illustrate how does IA-64 deal with variable argument list, put forward some suggestions on how to write programs for the IA-64 architecture.
