Augmenting Control with Scheduling for Embedded Computing Control System
For an embedded computing control system, if we know the total resource capacities and have a priori knowledge about the tasks it will handle, we would know how to schedule and allocate resources so that QoS guarantees will be provided. If an accurate system model is available, QoS assurance can also be achieved. The challenges are that the embedded computing control systems are becoming more and more complex.Not only is it difficult to find accurate system models, but also the dynamics in and around the systems require constant modeling changes. To solve this problem, we investigated combining control with feedback scheduling. This paper discusses the integration issues of augment control with scheduling for embedded computing control system.
