Research on a Disassembly Strategy Based upon the Global Program Flow Graph
Generally, the disassembly strategies can be divided into the linear-scanning strategies and control-flow-based recursion-scanningstrategy.Throughresearchingonthe control-flow-based recursion-scanning strategy and instruction sets of the mainstream processors, this thesis proposes the definition of the global program flow graph and a kind of disassembly strategy based on the global program flow graph,and then applies it in the design of the generic disassembler that is dependent on the generic instruction template and is used for the executable code solidified in the most mainstream processor,which improves the precision of the disassembly result.
