A Hierarchy of Business Process Concept in ERP Users Perspective
The paper reviews the very complex situation of ERP implementation, and presents suggestion to reduce this complexity via a hierarchy of business process concept for users with three levels derived from the Zachman Enterprise Framework. According to the hierarchy, the paper first presents a way for users to review business scenarios and get a macroscopic view of business processes. Secondly, it describes how a specific business process is depicted formally displaying how a business process goes through different departments in an enterprise. And finally, the paper suggests an implementation working sheet to let users get a clear path along which a business process is executed actually, and let the users collaborate to run the business process with other roles jointly. The conclusion points out a collaborative, integrate and very well organized Collaborative Implementation Script is very valuable for training both end users and university students.
