Design and Implementation of Chinese Herbal Medicine Image Database Based on CBIR

摘要：

How to make various kinds of Chinese Herbal Medicine to be recognized and used easily and accurately by people and how to effectively manage and retrieval the digitalized images of Chinese Herbal Medicine are always the problems in modernization and digitalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In this paper, the architecture of retrieval system of Chinese Herbal Medicine image database based on CBIR is first introduced. Then the main techniques employed in the design and implementation of the retrieval system are described. The procedure of retrieval images based on visual features, image database based on CBIR and the security design of system are also discussed in detail in this paper.
