A General Examination System Model Based on both B/S and C/S
This paper discusses the shortcomings of the current exam system (ES) and promotes a new ES model based on B/S and C/S. This new model consists of three parts. The first part is a toolkit named exam system shell (ESS), which manages paper delivery, exam process and giving grade. The second is the question warehouse system (QWS), which maintains the paper structure and paper contents. The last is the people who referencing to the exam, either examinants or examinees.Business flow charts are given in this paper. And to explain the model in detail, we also describe National Computer Rank Examination (NCRE) as a practical example.
