Study for Computer Graphic Design Application System about Land Planning of Mountainous Industrial Dumping Yard

Land planning of mountainous industrial dumping yard generally includes deciding how many lands for dumping need be purchased by calculating the dumping capacities and occupied areas of some lands. These will be very complex on the basis of conventional methods. Combining with real project,this paper presents a set of detailed methods making use of CAD technology to calculate directly capacities and occupied areas of dumping yard in topographic map and forms a software package of computer aided design system, these proposed methods including space shape analysis and detailed operational steps can provide decision-making for the long-term land planning of some mountainous industrial enterprises such as surface mine, underground mine and others, and are worth extending.
