Identity-Based Encryption: A New Technology for Information Security

摘要：

Identity-based Encryption (IBE) is an emerging new cryptography scheme. As it happens for new technologies,there are ongoing research about its theory and usage. This paper introduces the properties and usages of IBE. The paper focuses on the advantages of IBE compared with traditional Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). The application of IBE is also discussed in this paper, especially about E-mail security.
