High Precision Processing Circuit for Wide- range Dynamic Signal Computer Automated Measurement
An instantaneous floating point ADC based on cycle-amplifier was introduced. The cycle amplifying and offseterror compensation arithmetic were discussed. The circuit is offset-error self-compensating, amplifying gain self-adapting,with high precision. Test result shows that the circuit full dynamic range is 150dB, instantaneous dynamic range is 90dB,conversion speed is 125kSPS-330kSPS, and valid accuracy is 25-bit. The circuit meets the requirements for wide-range dynamic instantaneous signal computer automated measuring such as earthquake monitoring and sonar datum gathering.
