Relations between Semantic Classes and Syntactic Patterns in Authentic Discourse
This paper introduces a new clue added to language modeling -- relationship between syntax and semantic categories, by using this relationship, we could increase the predicting power of speech processing.Instead of calculating merely of syntactic category, the acoustic model could also calculate semantic category and join both of them to increase recognition rate of an acoustic model. Another implication of this investigation is by using of authentic spoken language corpus which is close to human speech. Currently most acoustic models use written corpus in their speech processing. The problem of written corpus is artificial in nature and could not reflect the real human acoustic production. This differentiation will discount the accurate rate of a speech model
