On Popularizing Clinical Legal Education in China

The current law education fails to completely achieve the goal of cultivating legal professionals with good legal skills, professional liabilities and ethics, therefore it urgently needs to be reformed. The clinical legal education first flourished in America provides us a learning reference. It may alleviate the present educational crisis in China, and may also lighten the bad need of legal aids. This paper first gives a brief introduction of clinical legal education, and then analyses the challenges of the clinical model to Chinas traditional model. At last it also puts forward with some feasible suggestions on popularizing clinical legal education in China.
