Technical excellence: the need for consistency in global training and experiential learning
Ford Motor Company requires their engineers to have consistent processes, vocabulary and work methods to integrate and communicate with all areas of the company. Thus the technical training and experiences of these engineers must be planned, consistent and applicable to their position responsibilities. Technical Excellence resulting from a structured and consistent training program for each individual engineer is a cornerstone of the Ford Motor Company Product Development System.
