What industry can help education?-IBMs view and practice

China leads in number of the science and engineering students in the world. However, many of the multinational companies in China face the challenge of talent shortage, a shortage for world class graduates in key occupations. Only 10% of the engineering graduates are suitable to work in multinational companies. That issue does not only impact Chinas sustained economic growth, but also impacting the business growth of the global companies in Chinas market. How to address the shortage and how the industry can help the education? IBM has its view and practice.
