Changing ecology of engineering education in the process of globalization
In this paper the changing trend and the role of engineering education is reviewed. The present situation at Yanbian University of Science and Technology located in Jilin province, China was taken as an example in explaining the necessity of multi-disciplinary engineering education, It was also emphasized introducing disciplinary fields to carry out design,analysis and test of complex system such as air vehicles. Chinese automobile Industries are analyzed to see the changing curriculum to meet industrial needs for mechanical engineers in China.
