Understanding heterogeneous catalysis from a chemical engineering perspective

From a chemical engineering perspective, the understanding of the catalytic process is mainly focused on determining the intrinsic kinetics of heterogeneous catalytic reactions, which are indispensables for reactor design. This contribution focuses on how to obtain and interpreter kinetic data.
