Network application in the open laboratory and a zero starting point experiment program to motivate innovation
Network technology is applied in the open laboratory to motivate innovation, which also alleviates the burden of the open laboratory due to shortage of experimental resources. With the information provided on the website, students are encouraged to conceive their own testing systems to solve their specific problems. A zero starting point experiment program is meant to attract innovation, in which students are expected to do experimental studies with only fundamental components of testing system but without finished system. In the program, undergraduates, postgraduates and tutors are bound together to organize new testing system and to do experimental study for a specific problem. The practice indicates that the network can take important position in the open laboratory and the zero starting point experiment program together motivate students innovation ideas.
