A multidisciplinary online course-fundamentals of process equipment and machinery
Fundamentals of Process Equipment and Machinery is a key course for student of chemical engineering. The course contents include engineering mechanics, engineering material, mechanically driven and decelerator, and process equipment design. The onlinecourse is a part of modern long distance education engineering supported by Ministry of Education. The contents, characteristics, and methodology of the netcourse are introduced in this paper. The online course consists of seven independent parts but interconnected, i.e., course content, learning guides, difficulty explanations (FAQ), flash index, keyword search, homework and answer, database, and discussion area. The netcourse satisfies the basic demands of internet teaching. The internet teaching and long distance learning will be easy to realize through the online course.
