Practice of bilingual teaching on transport processes and unit operations
Bilingual teaching is the use of a second or foreign language in school for the teaching of content subjects. As the emergence of an information age, the birth of a global economy and new ways of communication, it is imperative to carry out the bilingual teaching construction of the course. This article introduces bilingual teaching on transport processes and unit operations in ECUST. The special features of bilingual teaching include reinforce basic theory, emphasize contents of transport, and broaden students knowledge horizon; pay attention to the combination of tradition and modern; enhance combination of application and interest; and promote active problem-based learning. The bilingual teaching of the course has broadened perspective of students regarding international cultures, social issues, responsibilities, and professionalism.
