INNER BYPASS MAGNETO-RHEOLOGICAL DAMPER AND QUASI-STEADY FLOW ANALYSIS
Based on the three basic modes of Magneto-Rheological (MR) damper, an inner bypass MR damper is proposed,and the quasi-steady flow analysis is carried out. Inner bypass MR damper have two passages, and the inner passage is controlled by the magnetic field, and the outer is magnetic free. The inner bypass MR damper is contributed to avoid the force lag at the beginning of piston reverse, and is helpful to the design simplification.
