A FUZZY METHOD FOR RISK QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF SYSTEM FAILURE

There are many of failure modes with RCM (Reliability-centered maintenance) analyses for fire system of large space building. It is necessary to select most important failure mode from all failure modes in order to deal with effectively these failure modes with limit manpower and resource. Three quantitative evaluation indexes for failure effects severity, failure mode occurrence probability, and failure detect-ability are given for failure modes in this paper.With the three indexes, fuzzy logic inference method is proposed based on FMECA (Failure mode, Effects and Critical Analysis) and fuzzy mathematics for evaluating failure modes risk of fire system. With co2AFS (Automatic Fire System) for examples, analysis process of fuzzy logic inference method is expounded.
