THE MODIFIED Dp-METRIC SPACE OF FUZZY SET-VALUED RANDOM VARIABLES AND ITS APPLICATION TO VARIANCE

In this paper, we shall first introduce the definition of modified Dp metric for fuzzy set-valued random variables, which can build a complete metric space for fuzzy set-valued random variables. With the use of modified Dp metric, we shall define the variance and covariance of fuzzy set-valued random variables and show their application on statistical estimation.
