A Rapid Acquisition Scheme on TH-PPM UWB Signal

摘要：

An efficient acquisition scheme based a synchronization strategy is proposed for multiple access in the process of ultra-wideband (UWB) communications under multipath conditions. Receiver attains synchronization through two steps, i.e. original synchronization and time-hopping (TH) acquisition. Owing to resolving the difficulties into two simple steps, this scheme can improve effectively the pulse position modulation (PPM) UWB acquisition performance.
