End-to-end Based QoS Provisioning in All-IP Network
Telecommunications giants around the world are converging into embracing an ali-IP network infrastructure. Evolving their legacy networks to an all-IP infrastructure means ensuring the new IP-based counterparts could provide similar or better level of service quality. Due to the rapid evolution and extensive user demands of multimedia communication services, Quality of Service (QoS) provisioning in all-IP network has become more and more important. In this paper, an adaptive codec switching techniques in providing improved conversational quality in an audio call is explored. This study takes an end-to-end approach in providing QoS complementing other network-layer QoS implementations.
