Late Cenozoic intraplate metallogenic explosion and its relative geodynamic model in the southern Tibetan plateau

The young Tibetan plateau is a key window of dissecting continental dynamic process,as well as an important base of polymetallic deposits. We have expected and found many large and superlarge polymetallic deposits in the southern Tibetan plateau, especially the porphyry copper deposits in the Gangdese tectono-metallogenic belt by new continental dynamic and metallogenic dynamic models rather than the traditional model of plate collision orogeny and plate collision metallogeny. The late Cenozoic (from 15 Ma to 17Ma) metallogenesis was a dynamic reformed metallogenic processes related to the tectonic uplift, the laminar flow of lower crust, the intraplate orogeny, the crustal thickening, the thermal uplifting extension after Tethys closure and plate collision.
