Study on ore-forming geodynamics of Jianchaling gold and nickel mineral field, Lueyang County, Shaanxi Province, China

Jianchaling large scale gold deposit and nickel deposit in Jianchaling gold and nickel ore field are all related to the Jianchaling ultramafic rock-body. Following with the geological evolution of the Mian-Lue-Ning triangle region, the ore field successively occurs as different types of metallogenesis related to the Jianchaling intrusion formed during the period of from late Proterozoic to Yanshanian. The nickel-bearing magma and hydrothermal metallogenesis dominated from the late Proterozoic to the late Caledonian, and along with the gold mineralization in the late stage,therefore, the Jianchaling nickel deposit formed in a variety of phases of mineralization. However, the gold magmatic hydrothermal and structure reforming metallogenesis predominated from late Caledonian to Yanshanian period, related to this phase the Jianchaling gold deposit was formed.With the development and evolution of the Qinling orogenic belt, the Mianxian-Lueyang-Ningqiang triangle region convert splitting geosyncline into orogenic belt in late Proterozoic, and take place concomitant mafic and ultramafic magma intrusion,and further occurs the shear strike-slip process during the period of Indo-Chinese to Yanshanian,which is the metallogenic geodynamies background for the Jianchaling gold and nickel ore field.
