A RAID Controller: An Intel IOP80321 based Approach

While demand for large-scale storage services is growing rapidly,RAID is still todays standard solution for enterprise class storage systems. The designing of a RAID controller based on Intel IQ80321 platform is introduced,in which embedded Linux is setup on the board, and a prototype system is implemented on x86 platform with Fibre Channel interface to host. The benchmark test presents throughputs of 185MB/s and 141MB/s for RAID 5 reading and writing respectively.
