Resource-Aware Technology for Mobile Terminals
In mobile terminals, the available resources are varied in dramatic and unpredictable way. The paper proposes a resource-aware architecture based on PID and fuzzy control model. In such architecture, resources can be allocated in stable and agile way, and applications can change behavior considering allocated available resources. Shown by experiment, a good system performance is obtained, in which applications can be aware of resources and react to decreased resource availability, take advantage of increases.
